My name is Tambra Molloy. I successfully completed the Institute of Biblical Counseling and Discipleship, obtaining certifications for both Level 1 and Level 2. I am not a licensed counselor. I am the founder and principal operator of Renewed Spirit Counseling. I come alongside women and couples to help them identify and live out the truth of their identity in Christ Jesus. The Renewed Spirit exists to glorify God by helping people grow as disciples of Jesus Christ through the wise and careful application of the gospel to all areas and struggles of life.

THE NATURE OF THE RENEWED SPIRIT CLIENT RELATIONSHIP

The client understands that the Renewed Spirit relationship is not psychotherapy, psychological counseling, or any type of therapy; nor is it a substitute for these services. In the event the client feels the need for professional licensed counseling or therapy, it is the responsibility of the client to seek a licensed professional who can provide these services. If Tambra Molloy believes that such services will be valuable to the client, Renewed Spirit will recommend them. Renewed Spirit personnel may provide suggestions for change to the client, but the client is always seen as a person accountable for his/her own decisions. Tambra will help you to gain insight into how these experiences are affecting your current situation, She will help you identify the “lies” that you believe and help you identify the truth. We will work on ways for you to make new choices that will positively affect your life. Tambra’s main role is to be an encouragement and support to you during this process. We are committed to walking with those who are hurting and broken by the effects of sin, while applying the truth of God’s Word. We want to know your story and help you discover how the gospel meets you wherever you are. The Bible is God’s final word for what we are to believe and how we are to live. Therefore, we make it our aim to shepherd people to understand and live in obedience to God’s Word, all while trusting in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Because God’s Word is sufficient, it also gives us wisdom to use the common grace resources that are sometimes necessary for addressing the various hurts, addictions, and medical conditions people face. However, our counseling is based on scriptural principles rather than those of psychology or psychiatry. All our biblical counselors are under the submission of the Lord Jesus Christ.

CONFIDENTIALITY

The information that you share with me during our sessions will be kept confidential. The privacy of our conversations and the records of our time together are a privilege of yours and are protected by state law and ethical standards. There are some circumstances in which Renewed Spirit cannot guarantee confidentiality: 

If the Renewed Spirit counseling personnel feels you are about to do harm to you, to someone else, or to property, they must, by law, take steps to protect the vulnerable party. Any suspected abuse of a minor, the elderly, or the handicapped must also be reported.

If the Renewed Spirit personnel feels it would be in your best interest to consult with counseling colleagues, they reserve this right, while protecting your identity.

When a court orders a release of information:

If the client is a minor, the Renewed Spirit personnel will inform the parent or guardian of the Renewed Spirit procedures. The Renewed Spirit personnel may provide the parent or guardian with general feedback on the client while maintaining privacy of the actual details of the sessions. 

TERMINATION

Either party may end the Renewed Spirit relationship by providing the other party with a one-week written notice, which may be transmitted by email or fax. 

LENGTH OF SESSIONS AND PAYMENT

The length of the sessions will be 50 minutes. Payment of $40.00 (electronic payment) is expected at the prior to each session. Couples sessions are 60 minutes in length and $80.00 (electronic payment). If client(s) chooses to go over the allotted time; if it is available, the cost will be at $1.50 per minute. 

Cancelations: If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so 24 hours in advance or as soon as possible. Same-day cancelations are subject to 50% cost of the session. If no notice is received, you will be charged 100% for the session. 

We do not bill insurance. 

CONSENT TO RENEWED SPIRIT COUNSELING RELATIONSHIP 

While Renewed Spirit utilizes electronic security, making every effort to keep the information confidential we are not responsible for a security breach. By filling out this form, you release Renewed Spirit from the responsibility of keeping my electronic information secure. 

During our work together Renewed Spirit personnel and the client may interact in social settings outside of Renewed Spirit sessions. Renewed Spirit personnel will respond to the client’s initiation in these settings. If a client has social media connections with Renewed Spirit personnel before becoming a client of Renewed Spirit, then all social media communications will be placed on hold until the client has completed their work with Renewed Spirit. Renewed Spirit will make every effort to respond within a reasonable amount of time but will not be available during non-business hours.
